5 Ways to Keep Your Coffee Warm in the Winter
We're all about living in the present, but sometimes it's harder than we'd like to admit to completely take in the joys of fall when you know what's looming in the (not so far) distance. *Cough, cough* winter. When it comes to winter and coffee, there's actually a lot to be excited about. There's peppermint, there are various mocha combinations, but there's also the inevitable drop in temperature, which means the struggle to keep our warming cups of coffee hot enough to actually keep us warm. In order to prepare for what's lying ahead, we've compiled five hacks to keeping your coffee as hot as possible during the tundra-esque months 1. Get a Mug Warmer It's basically a portable hot plate for your coffee. Some even come with a USB port — fancy! 2. Purchase an Immersion Heater Like a warm bathtub for your coffee cup. We're jealous, honestly (of the coffee cup). 3. Invest in a Thermos These things will keep your coffee warm foreeeever. Plus, you can totally store whatever hot liquids you'd like in there (see: soup, hot cider, etc.) 4. Wrap It in a Scarf Yup, you heard that right. Since you'll likely already be wearing one around your neck, this hack is extremely convenient. Just layer it around your cup to give it more insulation, and let it sit. This doesn't give it heat for a long extended period of time, but it should work for an hour or so. 5. Use a Heating Pad Apparently, they're not just good for pain relief, and sometimes you have to make due with what you have. Just set your cup on top of the pad and let it do its thing. The looming cold of winter can be unsettling. And, although sometimes it feels impossible to warm yourself up during this season, at least now you're equipped to definitely keep one thing in your life warm. #HotCoffeeForever
